New School Board Members Sworn In
On Monday September 18th, the Woodward-Granger CSD welcomed two new board members. Ashley Brandt (District #4) and David Elliott (District #2) were sworn in for the first time of their 4-year term to the Board. Mrs. Brandt will be replacing long- time board member and past President of the Board Becky Carroll while Mr. Elliott will be replacing 4-year member Dan Jamison. Both Mrs. Brandt and Mr. Elliot were appreciative and excited for the opportunity to be elected. In addition to welcoming the new Board members the board elected new officers for the 2017-18 school year. Dr. Derek Petry was unanimously elected as the new Board President while Troy Janssen was unanimously elected to the Vice President opening. District Welcomes New Business Manager/Board Secretary
Kiley Tigges was welcomed by the community, staff and board in a public board meeting on Monday September 18th. Mrs. Tigges was recently approved as the new Business Manager/Board Secretary by the Woodward-Granger School Board and has resumed the role immediately. Mrs. Tigges, who currently lives in Pleasant Hill is originally from Trenton, MO where her mother and father reside today. Mrs. Tigges is married and has recently completed her Certified Public Accountant certification. Currently she is working with a variety of school consultants to gain insight of all the various accounts and reporting mechanism at Woodward-Granger.
