EFR Student Assistance Program(SAP)

Employee & Family Resources (EFR) offers a Student Assistance Program (SAP) designed to assist students, families, and schools with a wide variety of personal and family issues that can impact student behavior and achievement. SAP provides support to students and their families through in-person counseling, telephone counseling as well as written and online resources.

When to Call the SAP

Call the SAP for issues that interfere with your daily activities, happiness, family stability, or overall wellbeing. Some of the topics an SAP counselor can help you with are:

  • School performance
  • Stress
  • Confusion
  • Trouble with peers
  • Alcohol and other drug problems
  • Eating disorders
  • Problem gambling concerns
  • Dating and relationship issues
  • Conflict, bullying, or violence
  • Depression or suicidal thoughts
  • Family concerns
