Woodward-Granger CSD utilized the Iowa Academic Standards provided by the Iowa Department of Education for all Iowa schools as a guidepost for daily instruction. The academic standards outline what students are to know and be able to do during each state of their K-12 educational career. The standards can be accessed on the Iowa Department of Education website.
Pairing a focus on the standards with quality instructional practices, Woodward-Granger staff strive to fulfill our mission of creating a rigorous, collaborative, and inclusive learning environment for all students, with a focus on "one student at a time through a supportive culture of high expectations."
Woodward-Granger CSD teachers utilize a combination of commercial text products, software programs, and teacher created materials to provide engaging, accessible, grade-level instruction to students. Primary resources for English Language Arts and Mathematics are identified in the table.
